Furniture is ideally suited for circular use — especially when your furniture doesn’t fit the new growth phase of your kids. Frendly values sustainability and circularity; that’s why we ensure a circular supply chain with transparency in the origin of the materials (from source production to the final product), reuse, recycling, and a take-back guarantee. During production, we use as many recycled materials with high-quality constructions as possible and disassemble the furniture at the end of their lifecycle to reuse the parts.
Why use once when it can last a lifetime or longer? That’s why we design and manufacture all our furniture pieces to make them easy to disassemble multiple times. Making it a lot easier to replace parts in case of damages – plus, we extend the lifecycle of every single piece of furniture.
We have this thing for quality
Our children’s furniture is for the sustainable interior lover. In making our furniture, we save trees because we work where possible with materials with a high ratio of recycled content that are also almost fully recyclable after use. We use a combination of chipboard and MDF manufactured from 60%-90% recycled wood from Belgium and Germany. Besides this all connection fittings, hinges and sliders are carefully selected on quality, ease of installation and durability. We also work with other local partners to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible. Because every step counts.

REUSE, REPAIR OR RECYCLE
The basis of Frendly is that sustainability matters just as much as the design. That’s why we’ve thought of everything. We have a take-back guarantee, meaning that we collect each Frendly piece of furniture, and you can get a part of your initial costs back. We check the condition of your returned piece to assess whether your piece will be eligible for Reuse, Repair, or Recycle and, consequently, your return fee. Every piece that we can reuse or repair – after a deep clean – will be part of our Preloved Collection. If that’s not possible, it’ll be up for recycling with our locally selected partners. This way, we give back what we can’t use ourselves.

Frendly has the ambition to implement the Cradle-to-Cradle vision in its products as much as we can, which means that all the materials we select and use have a recycled origin and are recyclable after their lifecycle.
